16 magnificent trees.

I can remember growing up in a small Pennsylvania town that once had trees galore and every season there would be something remarkable about the displays they would present. Standing at the end of the street looking thru the tunnel of trees that stretched for blocks was magical.
Alas - the town decided that roots got into pipes, birds created messes, leaves had to be picked up, branches fell and sidewalks heaved - so they cut them all down, hundreds.
