Over the weekend, a couple tied the knot on a JetBlue flight from Boston to Seattle, according to Jaunted. Only it wasnt an actual legal ceremony it was just for fun.
The couple, Chas and Dina, originally set out to elope to Seattle to save money. But when the JetBlue flight crew heard about their plans, they decided to throw them a surprise makeshift ceremony of their own in preparation for the real thing....
They whipped up a garbage bag veil (!!), and a sugar-packet bouquet using napkins as petals. They also had them exchange wings, and in the end, pronounced them travel companions. A random passenger also happened to have his saxophone on board, and he celebrated them with a serenade!...
The wedding that JetBlue (thankfully) put on for us was more elaborate than the actual wedding ceremony we had planned, they continued. Now lets hope their marriage is full of just as many surprises and adventures.
Wouldn't the pilot be considered the captain of a ship?
And given jetBlue's on-time performance record
. it's probably just as well: they might never have made it to Seattle!
