This knife wound was a pretty clean incision. I could trace it back to the specific conversation and the individual with the loose lips, who...yes indeed...permanently sank the ship of this "friendship."

So sorry that you had to lose a "friend" (?) - but then again, a friend wouldn't have done this to you. This kind of thing would absolutely sink a friendship for me too. I will go to my grave with some of the things people have shared with me and asked me not to repeat. I felt honored that someone would share this with me and felt that I owed them that same type of honor by keeping my mouth shut. Unfortunately, not every one thinks like this. But at least you found out sooner than later.
