...I got a "We want you back, let us give you a new free trial" email from Netflix today, and I may have to bite, because I keep reading about D'Onofrio's role in this and really want to see it.
I'm a real "Law & Order Criminal Intent" junkie..."Goren" was such a brilliant character, part Sherlock Holmes-level genius and part emotionally crippled accident waiting to happen. The way he played that out over 10 seasons, instead of throwing it at you all at once, and that final scene of the last episode...just sheer brilliance.

(60,010 posts)Even porked up a lot of pounds for the role.
What I like about daredevil and about Gotham is that the villains are so much fun to watch.

(12,132 posts)I like the show and even began caring about DD's two sidekicks (True Blood and what's-his-name) but I only got that far because of Vincent.

(18,837 posts)...Full Metal Jacket has long been one of my favorite films. When I moved to Nevada in 2012, the local TV station had ION network, and they were playing "Law And Order Criminal Intent" in order. I liked the show immediately, and I don't watch the other variants in the franchise. I swear I got about 20 episodes in before I realized I was watching "Private Pyle," and that was only after I pulled up D'Onofrio on IMDB, wanting to see the other work he'd done.

(188 posts)Pooh Bear is one of my favorite crazy ass villains in any movie. Real underrated to, because I don't think anyone actually saw the movie.
