But then "classic rock" radio stations would lose 97 percent of their playlist.

people thought Nicks was the guy and Buckingham the girl. That changed the whole direction of the band. Popular success, but lost the Greene edge.

or hit mute and that's Reba McEntire.

I'm sure she's a lovely person but her voice hurts my ears

but she is the classic Oklahoma conservative. Had to change the channel when seeing her on Bill Maher.

just to name three - and I agree with you re the Steve Miller Band - they belong in the dump too!

And multi syllabic shriek music - not sure who was responsible for it, but there is no shortage of it!

That goddamn What a Fool Believes song played over and over and over and over and over on the radio when I was in high school.

They still get a lot of airplay. Most people I know love them. WHY?!?! Every single effing song is annoying. I can't change the station fast enough if Intergalactic or No Sleep 'til Brooklyn or Fight for Your Right comes on. Those songs & the others by BBs just plain suck.

to see so many quality musicians lumped with some oafs. Steve Miller? Guy has great blues roots and played in Chicago, IL with the masters. Guess everybody's got to do a commercial album to pay the bills. I won't knock Steve Winwood for the same thing.

And the Doobie Bros in the same thread as Bay City Rollers? I think there is a difference...
