The main character is a kind of Aspergers Syndrome afflicted cyber security drone by day, avenging hacker by night. The character is morally complicated, well cast, and played by an actor by the name Rami Melek.
Elliot is recruited by a shadowy hacker group who shares his goals of social justice, primarily opposed to the all powerful "Evil Corp" who's logo is a crooked E, very reminiscent of Enron's.
I think this one is going to be a winner.

(9,901 posts)We watched it "On Demand", but I was on a short home break, talking to my wife, pausing, fast forwarding through commercials, and was only vaguely aware that the episode was taking unusually long to finish.
I set our DVR to record the next episode which does run tomorrow, and will watch it next time I'm home.

(38,016 posts)Moody, broody, surprisingly slow-paced and, so far, the script isn't a trope-laden panderfest is totally trope-laden but somehow feels fresh. The kid is intriguing and (maybe) Christian Slater has finally found a gig with a future.

I like what I've seen of this show so far.
I also recommend Humans, on AMC
