Helped the wife with a quilt for five minutes, now it's 4-0. Damn. Well, what's for supper?

Although I was expecting 3-1 or 4-1, or even another shut-out.

Why I said this:
I felt the Japanese team got lucky back in 2011. plus, they were on a mission of their own back them, the tournament happening just months after that devasting earthquake in March 2011.
Then, they got lucky again in their semifinal against Great Britain, with that unintended heartbraking own goal committed by the Brits.
But it was going to be tough for the Japanese women to make chicken salad out of chicken shit three times running. That stuff was going to catch up to them sooner or later.

Plus, let's face it - after that heartbreaking loss back in 2011, that US women's team was on a mission. No way were they going to blow it this time around.

...in the game against England. That own goal was absolutely heartbreaking. After many years of watching my sons play, I have long been of the opinion that own goals should be disallowed, just like off-sides goals.
