(46,345 posts)3. Agreed.
The 64 Vette is a gem.
That 80's Chevy is so blah it radiates boringness.

Didn't look like that Mustang though.

(53,339 posts)5. I saw a new Mustang convertible recently, very cool!
I need a new car and it's tempting, but I'll probably just upgrade from my Ford Escort to a Focus.
I did have a brand new 1970 E-Type Jaguar roadster at one time, so it's all good.

(51 posts)7. We just bought a Yaris.
Also have an old Roadmaster. Not as cool as a Jaguar, but that as close as I can come.
My favorite was my 75 El Camino. Had the original timing chain at 150k miles. Paint wore out though.
I'd like to see someone combine the best of the old with the best of the new in some type of long covertible. We looked at the Avalon, but then they started making them shorter. Looked horrible. I love space and leg room.
