Grandparent says McDonald's Minion toy speaks profanity

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Seminole County family contacted Channel 9 after the Minion toy they got from a McDonald's happy meal sounded like it was speaking profanity.
The popular Minion character originated from the movie "Despicable Me" and a toy version that talks comes with McDonald's happy meals.
But when grandparent Bradley Merten ordered a happy meal from a Longwood McDonald's, he was shocked to hear the Minion toy saying what he believes is profanity.

She brought it in today and said, "what do you think this thing is saying????". I said, he is saying "WTF". She pushed the button again..."I'll be damned"... I was cracking up!

- I can't watch the video for some reason it's blocked on my laptop. Did the video play what the minion said? It was seriously funny at work today. We all had a good chuckle over it and will be using it for our office mascot.

If you click on the smaller one in that article, you can hear it. It won't let me link that one directly. Sounds like it to me!

McDonald's says they speak "Minionese." Of course they do!

11. OMFG... the explanation from McDonalds is hilarious:

"Minions speak "minionese" which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds. "Minionese" has no translation to, or meaning in any recognized language. Any perceived similarities to any words used within the English language is purely coincidental."

I read that in Dave Chappelle's white guy voice...

you really forfeit any rights to complain about what a toy says. I would rather a kid hear "fuck" a hundred times a day than feed them shitty food that is full of nasty chemicals.
