and I don't like Rossini - he was basically a 19th-century Barry Manilow. That leaves Tchaikovsky; I do like the violin concerto. I generally prefer music before the Romantic period, though. Mozart is better than just about anybody, any time.

I think of the later Romantics as "High Romanticism."
