Hey folks, just wanted to say THANK YOU for supporting my kid's band!!!!!

I just realized I owe you a huge hug for all the votes in that Loudwire.com Battle Royale Top Ten Video Countdown! We were in the Top Ten for TWO MONTHS - thanks to people helping us by voting. Our part of the competition is now completed. Just - THANK YOU!

Please check it out - just to enjoy, if you haven't already. By all means give it a like if you feel so inclined. But we aren't in competition for anything, so it's all mellow.

Btw - here's the schedule of their tour that just kicked off last night, performance-wise, in Joplin. They had a couple of radio shows to stop by and hang with beforehand. If anybody's near enough and interested, please PM me. I'll have your name put on the guest list.

Happy to help calimary.

I may have told you this: back in the 1990s and a bit into this new century I photographed local bands. Hundreds and hundreds of talented kids pouring their hearts n souls trying to get that one big break. None of the bands I worked with ever got anywhere, its sad actually. Well I was lucky to have heard them at any rate.

FWIW through some strange quirk of fate I saw a marquee that listed one of those bands I worked with, (Started in '98 I think) is still around and playing tonight. I haven't been to a show in over a decade but I think I'll stop by to 'jeer' them on.

I am pleased that your kid's band made it this far, I wish them further successes. I hope however things turn out for them, that they have fun along the way.

This tour with all the radio stops along the way is hopefully gonna be a very positive experience for them, and at least somewhat lucrative. They do have their new album to sell, and that's evidently doing okay. We'll have a better idea when they've done a few more shows. Problem out there is nobody has much money. The rock crowd isn't always that well-heeled, unfortunately.

And you should definitely stop by that band's show! They'd probably be STOKED to connect with you again!
