The 50 States Of America If They Were Actually People In A Bar. California Is Perfect.

A recent Reddit post asked users the following question: “The United States is a bar, what is each State doing and drinking?” Special credit goes to Reddit user motherboy, who is the individual mastermind behind many of them.

I'll start with my home state, "Texas is singing karaoke about how great Texas is."

Georgia will be drinking bud light, wearing a UGA trucker hat, tortoise Costa Del Mar sunglasses with croakies, solid colored Polo shirt, questionably short shorts with a UGA belt, and driving a Z71 with a Browning decal in their rear window (even though he only went hunting twice, in Jr High) and a UGA license plate frame. He went to Valdosta State University, and he works in his dad’s local business.

New York is an Italian businessman, wearing an expensive suit, with a perfect haircut and slicked back hair. He is talking down to New Jersey, like a father talking to a son, and he's drinking scotch.

I was born in Ga and relocated.

Delaware is that guy who hangs around the outside of the New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey friend-circle, taking occasional sips from his Yuengling and mostly being ignored, except when New York has to go past him to get to the bar

Sure, I get the joke, we're a small state trying to hang out with the bigger states near by - ha ha ha

But here's a little reminder of what we folks in Delaware have:

http://www.thedailymeal.com/50-best-craft-breweries-america?page=1

Who is listed #1 Oh that's Dogfish Head? Where are they located? Wait, that's in DELAWARE.

Pennsylvania's best brewery - #15
Maryland's best - #39
New York - #19
New Jersey - I don't think anyone drinks the stuff from New Jersey

http://www.thedailymeal.com/drink/50-best-craft-breweries-america-2015?slide=51

BTW that article came out yesterday

BTW still don't believe me?

Just from beer drinkers alone Dogfish has 2 of their beers in the top 10 list! (Dogfish 120 and Dogfish 90)

We Delawareans would not waste our time with Pennsylvania's hand-me-downs!

We First Staters know better! And at least we don't put $8 toll booths on the side road alternatives that you can take to bypass paying the $8 tollbooth on YOUR stretch of 95.

I used to like Yuengling but now my faves are Dogfish Head and Yards. No need to give money to scabs when I can get even better beer from great craft breweries.

I'll add him if he's an official candidate.

If anyone gives me a pride icon for Webb or Chafee I'll consider adding them too. But I kinda like the three I have, and of course Joe would be a great add. (I can use the image you have there instead of a the pride pic ... it's cool enough. )

good to know.

I think Biden just wanted to wait until his family had some time to heal. But it was his late son who really pushed him to run for President so I think he's really doing this for Beau. I wasn't interested in getting involved with the primaries but we Delawareans gotta stick together!

Best case I can get you a photo of Joe running around the White House like a Cape Crusader with the Pride Flag wrapped around him. He was pretty stoked that day!

Pennsylvania is a cheery, pretty brunette girl with blue eyes, dressed fairly preppy. She's drinking Yuengling and making out with a handful of other states.

I was afraid they would do shot-and-a-beer blue collar worker. We still have those guys, but not like we used to.

Even us folks in Delaware and trust us we Delawareans do not want your anti-union crap beer. Why would we when the #1 Craft Brewery resides in our state.

I know nothing of beer. I remember Iron City and Rolling Rock. I even remember the slogan "Beer in Cans = Jobs in Steel." That sounds pro-union.
