Something that bugs me about GD

In a thread of 200+ posts, people will often reply merely with a subject line that reads "see post #146" or whatever.

Two things about this:

1. My phone doesn't show the post numbers in a nested format, so there's no way for me to "see post #146"
2. If you're going to the trouble of telling someone to "see post #146," then why the hell don't you include a direct link to post #146 in the body of your message?

(I have no idea, I still use a real computer with a screen I can actually read, and a dumb phone for phone calls, shitty photos, and short text messages)

Even on a desktop, it can be a pain to hunt for a particular reply when told to do so, especially when that reply is basically "I agree completely."

Sure, I can simply CTRL-F to find it, but unless the destination post is really compelling as it stands, then it's either not worth citing or would be worth reposting in its entirety.
