While the cats are away, the mice will play.......

I have to be here in Dallas for a few days, so my wife went up to New York City to visit with our daughter and my sister (my sister is the one in sunglasses). It appears that my wife is having a better time than I am. From the photo, she appears to have chopped 25 years off her age (we are both 63) in the last three days!

My sympathies for being in Dallas during the middle of August. I'm perspiring just thinking about it.

Some might complain: "not at all." Must be what comes when your major mode of transportation until age 25 was a bicycle. She is from the flat farmland of northwestern Germany, and her parents never owned a car.

We will be meeting up in 2 days. Until then, I have no choice but to take my chances!

It is indeed warm here, by the way...........

Even if I end up sweating half a gallon to cross the street.

The Anglos look at me like I'm crazy and the Mexicans wonder if I'm not one of them who dresses funny.
