The Rainbow

Driving home not long before sunset, beautiful weather plus spring showers here in NW Pa. Gave us a beautiful double rainbow in the eastern sky. We all know the rainbow is a result of light being split into prism colors through water. The question - does knowing that change the awe we feel inside when lifting our heads and hearts to be gifted with such beauty from our father/mother heaven and earth?

This thread is for anyone who reads it who has suffered for being different. Nature, God, the Great Spirit or whatever you call it writes this wonderful lesson in the sky for us, but some just refuse to see... physical blindness is nearly a blessing compared to spiritual blindness. The physically blind are rarely fooled by appearance and are blessed with fair judgement, whereas the spiritually blind live in the darkness of fear.

.... to awe and move me. Knowing how they are formed and exactly what conditions are necessary for their appearance doesn't demean their utter beauty.
