i never look at which one i'm grabbing at the store. the perils of living in colorado.

I think they're the same except one of them is the brand found mostly in the Western US.

But then I tried Safeway brand mayo and I actually prefer it! I like the flavor, and it's less costly than
brand-name mayos.

Same goes with practically everything else that's Safeway brands, except maybe the strawberry jam--
it has to be Smuckers, or else!

it was just the part of the country you lived in that decided the name. Was I wrong? I always buy Hellman's. Mom & dad refused to allow anything else in the house, and I agree. No other mayo for me.
