Can you honestly name your favorite song from "The Wall"?

My list, in order, but I do battle with myself.

The Thin Ice

Mother

Young Lust

Comfortably Numb

I know everyone will pounce on me, but bring it! We can't disagree on what an awesome album it is!

and has been since the first time I heard the album back in 1979. Gilmour's solo is the bomb. Young Lust is probably my #2. Seeing Roger perform the whole thing on the 30th anniversary tour was the climax of nearly 40 years of Floyd worship for me. Hands down the greatest arena show EVER!

Goodbye Blue Skies

A tab of acid and some JBL's with giant woofers parked on either side of your head and that song sounds like Satan coming for you.

Scary as hell and then that heartbreaking acoustic exercise to finish it up.

Be that as it may,

-Hey You
-the entire "Another Brick" sequence
-Mother
-Goodbye Blue Sky
-Comfortably Numb

Incidentally, I'm on way out the door to buy the Immersion box set.

There's something so stunningly creepy about that song. As a shrink I find it pretty compelling.

Only because it succeeds in being THE MOST DOWNER, DEPRESSING rock song of all time. Shit, it's worse than "Dogs."

But nobody has The Thin Ice but me?

I love the lyrics, and how it starts out with Gilmour singing then Waters comes in.

I also adore the sad, sweet guitar melody in "Is There Anybody Out There?"
