Found a very interesting "personality test"...it was actually pretty revealing.

You're asked to write out responses to the following questions. If you go to the link below after writing them you will find a section that reveals the significance of each question and your response to it.

http://themindunleashed.org/2014/03/unusual-personality-test-will-reveal-much-perception-life.html

One of the basic rules of this test is to write what you feel and what first comes to mind. It’s fine if you have the same answers to different questions. Do not read all at once! Read the questions one by one and do not rush. It will not be so interesting to see the next question if you are still writing the answer to the previous one. Well, if a pen and a piece of paper are in front of you, then let’s begin!

1. You are peering into the sea, what do you feel? Focus only on your first impression. You can close your eyes to better feel it…

2. You are walking through the woods and look at the ground. Write down what you feel.

3. What do you feel when looking at flying seagulls? It’s all right if in this case you make up with a quick response.

4. What about a herd of horses? Write the first thing that comes to mind, avoid thinking for too much time.

5. You are in the desert, standing by the wall with a small hole, behind which you see the oasis. What are your actions? Don’t write just your thoughts and feelings, but focus on what you would do in this situation.

6. You are still in the desert, completely exhausted, and suddenly see a water jug. Once again, your actions are what matters in this question. Your answer may sound banal, but still write it down.

7. You are lost in the woods in the evening and see a house with lights on. Write what you’re gonna do.

8. You’re in the fog. Once more, focus on actions and write down how you would behave.

1.) The oppressive emptiness of open space.
2.) Like I just hike-marathoned.
3.) Seagulls are flying rats that should be exterminated.
4.) Nonplussed. Horses are needy assholes and work-animals.
5.) Walk along the wall until I find a doorway or corner or end.
6.) Drop an iodide pellet in it to make sure it doesn't contain parasites before drinking it.
7.) Keep walking. One house means civilization is nearby.
8.) I wouldn't do anything particularly. Fog is a common phenomena in the NWCT highlands. Daily almost. Do people really freak out over fog?

#2 is perceptively accurate though. They're a trial alright.

1. You are peering into the sea, what do you feel? Focus only on your first impression. You can close your eyes to better feel it…

-Not much, it's wide, the wind feels nice. I can just close my eyes and relax for a bit.
--Your attitude to life, emotions, sensations.

2. You are walking through the woods and look at the ground. Write down what you feel.

-The ground, what is in the underbrush? Are there things that would bite me in here? Perhaps I should just run. Hmmm, is that a bear? Oh WTF, Run, find the nearest person and make sure I can run faster than them.
--The way you feel in your own family.

3. What do you feel when looking at flying seagulls? It’s all right if in this case you make up with a quick response.

-I don't really feel much about them. Now that I know that they peck the eyes of baby seals for food because they figured it was much easier to do that than to go for snails. I hate them. When people think that pigeons are rats with wings, I disagree with them, now I think seagulls as that.
--Your attitude towards women.

4. What about a herd of horses? Write the first thing that comes to mind, avoid thinking for too much time.

-Very beautiful to watch, but wouldn't want to be near it. It gets stinky, and I'd probably get trampled.
--Your attitude to men.

5. You are in the desert, standing by the wall with a small hole, behind which you see the oasis. What are your actions? Don’t write just your thoughts and feelings, but focus on what you would do in this situation.

I would most likely either walk to the end of the wall so that I can go to the oasis, or climb it depending on how long the wall is. If it is short enough, maybe around 20-100 feet or so, I'll just walk around it. If it is longer or fenced in, then I'll climb. So, do I have iodine or something to make sure I can drink the water?
--Your basic life strategy and goal. The way you solve your problems.

6. You are still in the desert, completely exhausted, and suddenly see a water jug. Once again, your actions are what matters in this question. Your answer may sound banal, but still write it down.

Am I thirsty? Do I have my own water? That changes my answer depending on what I have. If I have no water and I am thirsty, I'd probably just drink it due to desperation. If I have other options or time, I'd probably boil it first if I can.
-How selective you are in sexual life. Choice of a partner.

7. You are lost in the woods in the evening and see a house with lights on. Write what you’re gonna do.

I am going to head towards the house. Look around for signs of no trespassing or what not. Make loud noises as I come so that whomever is there has a chance to see me or hear me before getting there. If nothing, knock on the door when I can.
--Your readiness for marriage.

8. You’re in the fog. Once more, focus on actions and write down how you would behave.

Well, I would probably look around a bit first. I would be careful with my steps and pay attention to the sounds. Not much else I could really do other than look for the closest land mark or whatever. Hopefully I'll hit a wall and just grope around the wall for support.
--Your attitude to death.

I don't know, this seems to miss the mark for me by a wide margin. Very wide margin.
1 - Might be accurate
2 - Very inaccurate, I would protect my family to the end
3 - Very bad choice of object to associate women with. Sea gulls? The hell is wrong with this person. Sea gulls are currently known for attacking baby seals, pecking their eyes out and so forth. No, no no no. They could have said a flock of birds flying instead.
4 - Men as a pack of horses? Very bad association as well.
5 - Probably accurate
6 - I've never been desperate
7 - I have no idea if this is accurate
8 - Ditto on 7

So I'm not sure exactly that they fit well.

1. Calm and peace. The ocean is restorative for me
2. Curiosity and interest. My usual absorption in the diversity of flora and fauna
3. Fascination with flight. Applicable to pretty much everything that flies (I'm an amateur pilot)
4. If the horses are grazing quietly, I am content. If they're running, I fear for their safety (I'm a pro in the horse biz and a galloping herd of horses means with near certainty that one or more will get hurt)
5. Climb the wall
6. Go to the water jug and get a drink. There's no such thing being too hydrated in the desert
7. Go to the house, follow the driveway to the road, then walk along the road til I find a town, a sign, or any other sign of civilization. I guess I've seen too many slasher movies to trust the inhabitants in the house in the woods.
8. I envisioned an impenetrable fog. In that situation I'd sit. Relax. Try to meditate. Wait for the fog to lift. If it's just a bit of whispy fog, I'd just keep on going on with the things that need doing for the day.

1. Spiritual, refreshed, calm, happy
2. Spiritual, refreshed, calm, intrigued
3. I feel like the ocean is near by and it reminds me of growing up
4. Awesome
5. Question if I was really seeing an oasis
6. I’d be concerned that it was a mirage but I’d still go and check it out
7. I’d be careful and see if I could view into the home with out disturbing anyone
8. Spiritual, refreshed, calm

I guess I don't fit the mold. Or I am deceiving myself about a lot of stuff.

I did say I would climb the wall, like some others did. (It is a very high wall though.)

You write out a response to each question without really knowing why the question is being asked. That removes the tendency to "edit." Then you read the second section and look at your response in the context of what the question is supposed to mean. The desired end result is that you gain some insight into the area that the question focuses on.

11. I'm not sure how I feel about my results.

Apparently, I:

1. don't feel one with life and emotions around me. Maybe. I'm a Lone Wolf in many ways.
2. am happy with my family...yes.
3. have an ambivalent attitude towards women...I am one. I don't think I'm as ambivalent as this suggests. I'm just a Lone Wolf.
4. really like men. Yes, although I don't see them through rose-colored glasses and I don't trust many. Lone Wolf here.
5. like challenges, and prefer to take them on rather than stay safe. Okay. Sometimes.
6. am cautious about choosing partners. Hello, yes...Lone Wolf.
7. am not at all "ready" for marriage...this one is spot on. Two strikes, I'm not even at the plate any more for the 3rd.
8. am okay with death.

It could be that my responses are influenced by the simple facts that I prefer forests and mountains to oceans, and that I've felt happier with horses than many people since childhood. That, and, having lived in the desert for more decades than not, I'm pretty comfortable here and recognize beauty and strength in sparse and harsh landscapes.
