The DU Lounge

sweet little puppies like this? Yes, I guess we can believe it--but it is hard to wrap one's mind around such viciousness. Oh, and the rescue group treating them needs financial help to cover costs.

But I do hope they find the scum that did this, rescue any other animals that may be at risk and give them the severe punishment they deserve.

(27,845 posts)Facebook allows links to animal torture videos ("Crush Videos"
Mark Zuckerberg should be ashamed of himself for allowing that.

http://animalpetitions.org/16435/remove-facebook-video-of-kitten-being-set-on-fire/The above petition is the only one I could find that is current; but I'll continue to search for others.
Perhaps it's time for a large animal rights organization like the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) to start their own petition to Facebook.
I will be contacting them tomorrow about this matter; and I'll also contact the ASPCA and ask them about starting a Petition to Facebook to take down ALL animal torture videos
I also found this:
"Facebook refuses to take down sickening video of puppy being Blowtorched to death"
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/facebook-refuses-take-down-sickening-5839136
The following is an OP that I posted back in 2013.
"Facebook Refuses To Take Down Graphic Animal Abuse Photos & Videos"
(The petition cited in this OP: "Remove Facebook Sites That Promote Intentional Animal Abuse" is now closed, but the OP is worth reading to get an idea of how Facebook typically reacts to requests to take down animal torture videos)

As I said before, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg should be ashamed of himself for allowing all the animal torture viceos on Facebook.
What an asshole!

(28,125 posts)Thank you so very much for all that work. I will sign and call anyone necessary. Anyone who can hurt an animal like that could kill a person....they just did imo.
For you red dog1 >>
