(2,197 posts)Batman can also stay alive just long enough and be observant enough to find your weakness and hit you with it when you least expect it.

(8,217 posts)Wait, you know what... I will re-cast my vote for Batman.
Vader tends to use the force inefficiently.

(2,197 posts)Vader's costume is even based on Dr. Doom.
Now that would be an interesting battle.

(1,681 posts)He has a genius intellect that fuels his world class cynicism & mistrust of the powerful. Vader will underestimate him for being only human with no powers. Batman will prepare, study, make contigency plans & absolutely 100% cheat in order to win.
Batman has succesfully made plans to take out the entire Justice League. Vader will fall to the Bat.

(18,837 posts)Batman IS the more dangerous of the two. Vader has power and knows it, so he'd see Batman as an easy target, but Batman would obsessively look for even the smallest weak point in Vader and bring him down with it.
My entire opinion of Batman changed with Frank Miller's "Dark Knight" and his clash with the Joker. Many artists / writers...especially Neil Adams...attempted to "right the course" of the Joker following the "camp" Cesar Romero version from the TV show. And while they DID succeed in making the Joker a dark, homicidal maniac (especially when he beat Robin to death with a crowbar), "Dark Knight" showed that Batman was at least twice as crazy as any villain he ever faced.

(9,527 posts)Vader was a whiny little snot (please see episodes 1, 2 and 3,), left a major weakness in his big bad Death Star, and his soldiers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and were defeated by Ewoks. Hardly a worthy super villain. Oh and his goody two-shoes kid personally killed more people that Vader. Hell Anakin killed more people on screen before becoming Vader than after.
