Jose Cuervo / Rolling Stones ad: Riddle me this

In the Jose Cuervo ad currently in heavy rotation, the textover talks about the Rolling Stones taking Cuervo on their 1972 tour, allegedly giving birth to a legend. The song playing over the commercial is "Miss You," which wasn't recorded until 1978.

Yes, I'm old because I spotted it right away (the album featuring "Miss You" was "Some Girls," which came out when I was in college). But really, what the hell?

The reality probably is that even if it was available on their '72 tour they probably didn't remember it because it would have simply been on a bar cart with many other spirit choices along with other things like heroin.

What didn't Keith drink or ingest. That would be a better question.
