Saw the new STAR WARS--very disappointed

Granted, the lead performance by the young actress Daisy Ridley was effective, but The Force Awakens left no impression on me. It played like a remix, with no elegance or innovation. I realize the Prequel trilogy was widely panned, but at least George Lucas took the narrative in unexpected directions and allowed his emotional climaxes to properly breathe.

This probably isn't the worst SW movie, but it's definitely the least interesting.


On edit: Most disappointing--John Williams' score. This is the first SW flick without an instantly-hummable theme.
