... the two of them decided to go onstage together, instead of in sequence. In their patter, they started doing a oneupmanship game on "My town was so small..."

Paxton got down to the point of saying his town was so small, all they had was a Motel 6.

My buddy, Pete Kennedy, rejoined:

"All we had was a Motel 5."
