The vast majority of serious amateur and virtually all of professional photography is post processed outside of the camera via some image editing software. Some layman seem to think the only purpose for Photoshop is to significantly edit digital images outside the realm of what can be accomplished inside a film darkroom. The reality is the vast majority of the time, Photoshop is used in exactly the same way negative and positive film is manipulated in the darkroom. The only difference is one uses analog methods vs digital.
