Watch the Bald Eagles building their nest. Hear them chirping to each other. (Original Post) In_The_Wind Feb 2016 OP
I just checked on them. It's night time, why aren't their parents there? nt Fla Dem Feb 2016 #1
Isn't it great looking at the nest after dark. My guess is because they haven't laid the eggs yet. In_The_Wind Feb 2016 #2
OIh Duh, thought they already had the chicks. Then they should be home making whoopie! nt Fla Dem Feb 2016 #3

I have a flock of very small doves living (in a cage) in my dining room.
I can hear them cooing mating calls 24/7. They do mate at night ... as well as all day long.

Look at the time-lapse video lower down on the page. You'll see the adults rebuilding last year's nest.

Last time I looked ( 2 minutes ago) I could hear the wind. It's so cool having a bird's eye view.
