(4,012 posts)I'm feeling nice & sore today, but I knew what I was getting into. Not too many injuries, just a few scrapes, bruises & welts. It was totally worth it.
Both Anthrax & LOG freakin tore it up last night. It was good to see Charlie on drums and hearing an old S.O.D. tune was the icing on the metal cake.
Good to know a fellow DUer was there. Hope you had as much fun as I did.

(47,558 posts)I spent most of my time to the right of center, with the big pit on my left and the little pit right in front of me...basically about twenty to thirty feet straight out from Scott Ian during Anthrax, so when it came time for WAAAAR DAAAANCE I basically got swept up in the merge...lol.
LOG was something else, though. I've been waiting for this since the old Forum owners wouldn't let them play (Metallica, Death Magnetic Tour). I mean yeah, Machine Head's no slouch, but they can't hold a candle to Lamb Of God.

(47,558 posts)I'm looking to get GA 1 tickets for that. Totally missed it when they went on sale.
(IIRC, Fox is split between the general admission 1 (floor) in the front, and the general admission 2, which is everything back of the rail.)

(100,080 posts)Can't wait. I'm securing my tickets for Iron Maiden at the Forum in April first.

(4,012 posts)If you have a GA floor ticket get in line early, before the doors open. Go to the front part of the GA section right away (I mean as soon as you enter) & get a wristband to access the front GA section. They only give out about 400 and it's first come first serve.
Forgive me if already knew this.

(47,558 posts)I've only ever stood in the back half at Fox.
Excellent if you get right up on the rail. Sight line can't be beat. But you have to stay there all night or lose your spot, kinda like at the Observatory.
