Raffaello D'Andrea: Meet the dazzling flying machines of the future

This TED talk has made me admit that imagination and curiosity can lead us in fascinating directions. And I have to admit, I still hate it when one of these things buzzes over me on the freeway. First I hated drones because of the use in war and our ability to kill without engagement. Now I wonder how drones will be used in day to day lives. I've heard of pizza deliveries! They just feel too intrusive.
Other than that, bring them on! We have found wonderful uses for other inventions.
