i honestly feel good for the first time in a month

work's been a shit show for a month and i've been a walking disaster, but not tonight. local and local and the cure cranked up. all melted on the couch with a cat to pet.

it feels so good to be comfortable.

That was a small bit of heaven to me. We still have a few flakes of snow on the way this week but winter is almost over. None of the spring blooming bulbs are coming up but a few perennials are showing signs of life.

we didn't get our ass-biting cold snap this winter, but plenty of snow and chill and the warm was divine. the test flower garden will be blooming in four or five weeks and i can't wait to get out with my camera.

Is that the first flowers of spring or new things you're trying out in small spots before planting vast quantities?
