So I had my fourth eye operation on Thursday.

At the moment I'm functionally blind in my right eye due to uncontrolled pressure inside my eyeball. So they decided to put in what's called an Ahmed Valve- in essence it's a permanent drain that will hopefully keep the pressure low enough it won't do any further damage.

The operation itself was painless, and I stayed awake for it all, although I was VERY relaxed and numbed up. It went smoothly and two days later there is no pain or irritation.

Now all I have to worry about is my right knee replacement which will take place in a little over three weeks.

The fun never ends.

Wow, the fun sure does not ever end, does it???

Hang in there!

The knee replacement will most likely be somewhat simpler, since the knee is a simple hinge joint. I hope you'll do well, and you will be in my thoughts!

I hope your eye will improve and quickly.
