Follow up on the neighbor lady with the jackass husband.

He's gone... at least for now. Moved out. She came by today with a plate of brownies and a few hugs. She talked to her Mom and got the shock of love and acceptance. Apparently her mom was mortified that she made her daughter think divorce was grounds for a family shunning. Mom is going to pay for counselling.

At least at the moment this one looks like it may end well.

Thanks to all for the posts. I tell ya - it still just floors me that any human being would turn their back on someone who just said out loud they are considering suicide. I can't even fathom that kind of emptiness in a soul.
