Little 8 week old completely white male fur balls. Very cute and already getting adjusted to their new
environs. Our old (15 years) tabby female is not thrilled. She spent quite a while sniffing the cat carrier
and then headed upstairs. It's going to be quite interesting around here for a while.

After the muzzle he could not have still cared less about the cats...almost like they did not exist in his reality.

(149,640 posts)I remember when we got one new kitten -- our older cat was not happy. Since she was so much bigger, we kept them apart at night so she wouldn't eat him.
We called him Goliath because he was afraid of everything!
Of course, he grew into his name and was able to defend himself very well.
Hopefully you won't need to do that!

(25,816 posts)But if it were up to me, I'd name them Curtain Climber and Couch Ripper.
I am house-sitting my two grand-kitties this week. They should be called Get-Off-the-Table and Scaredy-Cat!
I am truly a dog person.

(24,007 posts)Very smart to have a pair of kittens. They will definitely entertain each other, which will allow the Queen of the roost time to watch from afar while she gets used to the new roomies.

(25,816 posts)I stayed home while Jeannie worked and they were into and under everything, fighting with each other,
mewing at me to be picked up, and then out like a light for an hour. Then up and at it again. Good grief.
I like it when they arch their back and attack sideways. They have no control over their claws yet, and
get stuck on things, like my shirt. The old lady cat never came downstairs and is still quite nervous about
these two young rowdy boys.

I've only had one "old lady" who was kind enough to the new "kids" (which were Mickey and Mallory at the time).
This will be interesting. Meanwhile, sweet little old lady might just need extra TLC (hiss!)

(24,764 posts)They look as if they have Turkish Angora in them.
What do you plan on naming them? Or are you going to wait until their personalities emerge after they get used to the house to name them?
