Last year, I ended up in the ER after a colonoscopy. Almost bled to death. Anyhoo, so the attendant was pushing me to the elevator to take me upstairs and I told him, "Go as fast as you can, run!" He laughed and said he couldn't or would be fired. Ah well, no harm in trying, right?

ER, transfusion, overnight in ICU... Thank dog I have decent insurance, but I hit my $2,500 max out of pocket very quickly.
