It's 30 degrees at 11 AM. I see more than an inch outside my window. Happy Spring! I hope this years apple production wont suffer from the winter's weather.

This white stuff is gonna hang around long enough to get washed away by the rain on Thursday.

Mainly trees, but a guy who was sitting in his car in a parking lot on the north side nearly got crushed when a concrete sign fell over on his car. He said he was leaning over to pick something up when it happened -- good thing. The roof is flattened.

I just got back from a run through my neighborhood and a lot of trees are missing branches -- BIG branches.

Still very breezy here today but nothing like yesterday.

I got home and the power went out-- had to reset all the clocks...

Stove, coffeepot, microwave, refrigerator, clock radios, alarm clocks, TV... Not as bad as DST changes when I have to do the quartz clocks, too, but it still sucks.

I know, some I shouldn't bother, but I hate those blinking red lights.

Take your 80 and...

(Never mind...)

Apparently they weren't prepared for it, heard that early this morning nothing was plowed and it was still pretty slushy by the time I went out, though it was still snowing then. It finally quit tonight, but I haven't looked out again since I got home. It's only April...

... is that all the precipitation fell in the last few days. 29F, wind gusts are up there pretty good. But sunny. Happy Spring, indeed.
