How many of us are where we are because we turned off of our chosen path, or because we were redirected.

I know I'm alive today because I stopped for the night a bit earlier than planned. A few miles ahead on I-95 a oil tanker fell off an overpass and exploded into flames. It is likely that I would have been in that very spot at the wrong time had I not stopped.
