Did it run an update that froze it? If so, you might want to make sure that auto update is turned off if possible so you don't have to go through it again.

Nice to know that you got through to an actual person. Was it a long wait or pain in the butt to find an actual person?

I wanted to practice due diligence before I officially pronounced it dead and tell my fiancee we need to buy a new one. I am surprised it works now but the factory reset did the trick...

It's not the greatest hdtv but I paid less than $400.00 for it three years ago.
