Anyone remember Boney M's "Young, Free and Single"?
If you were starting over, why on Earth would you come to the increasingly parsimonious US?
Watching Frontline last night, German authorities are giving Syrian refugees something like $2,200 per month CASH, homes free and clear, FURNISHED. Give me some of THAT. 
More seriously, it was a sad documentary. But yeah, they are redeeming their culture by helping those in need today.
