I was only 14. We were grounded for weeks. In early November of that same year, my father relented and let me go to the concert... back when every concert was at the JLA in Detroit (that was a big thing for my dad to do).
And I was going to marry him (along with George Michael and Michael Jackson) one day.
He will be missed.
And I miss how close I used to be with my brother.
What a sad day.

(205,467 posts)I used to go to concerts with my brother. When he was in college, Bruce Springsteen played there and my brother invited me as his guest! When I invited him to a concert a year or two ago, he said he couldn't stay up that late. And he votes Republican.
