August 26 is not your lucky day, David Wilson

Welsh coal miner, David Wilson, born 1846. On August 26, 1857, he fractured his right forefinger. August 26, 1859, he broke his left leg below the knee. August 26, 1860, he broke both bones of his left forearm. August 26, 1861, he broke his left leg above the ankle. August 26, 1862, he broke both legs and the right one had to be amputated. For 28 years he renounced working on August 26, but in 1890 he forgot. He went to work and broke his left leg again.

a bad month for me... loved one die, I get hurt and I would prefer to just go into hibernation until September comes around. Got married once, that was in August too... didn't last long.

Considering how this year is shaping up, I think I'll just go find a cave to hide in for August.

every month a significant event occurred - got a job, found a penny in my oatmeal, hiked up to the alpine lake of the grand teton, got another job, left on a big long adventure road trip with a sweetie, started back to school in the fall, fell in love, was cured of a migraine

I don't seem to have any significant recurrent dates in my timeline. Or at least, I haven't noticed any.
