And Vampires don't show up in mirrors...

So the Moon could be inhabited by Vampires.

But refracting telescopes do not. We would only see dead ones though, because they die in sunlight. So they would have to constantly migrate across the moon to stay in the shadow.
And yes, I AM high right now.
