https://medium.com/%64toure/rip-to-my-friend-prince-accbdb744ed7The facts are that this man was still actively performing, throwing parties, cycling around Minneapolis suburbs does that sound like it was HIS time?
It wasnt his time because it wasnt MY time. Wasnt my time to lose a friend, a generous, memorable employer, someone I ate with, drank with, partied with and, yes, worked for during the most formative and rewarding years in my career someone without whom my life might have been radically different.
But, yes, this is how we grieve. The grieving is never about the deceased, its about us our loss. And so it goes

(135,425 posts)TMZ has new information, this is looking like a prescription medication overdose and the prescribing physician will probably fall under some scrutiny.
TMZ also thinks there's something to the fact that the guy calling 911 didn't know the address of Prince's home, and didn't even realize he wasn't in Minneapolis.

(78,249 posts)Wouldn't everyone just call it "Paisley Park"?
MADem
(135,425 posts)He called it Prince's House--the 911 operator was the one who coughed up Paisley Park.
It seemed to me that the TMZ people were suggesting that the police want to know who that guy was, maybe because of the drugs issue.
Also, the pacing about in the Walgreen's parking lot was covered--very odd circumstances. http://www.tmz.com/2016/04/21/prince-walgreens-death/
Some are wondering if he had an opiate addiction but wasn't familiar with Percocet, and the TYLENOL in the Percocet killed him?
I am very interested in learning what the end result of the autopsy is. Apparently the guy who got him drugs for years said he was a fan of oxy and fentanyl. If he were substituting Percocet for that it would be very easy to get in deep trouble.

Were hoping to make Paisley what (Prince wanted) it to be. (He) was working on it being a museum, she told Entertainment Tonight. Hes been gathering memorabilia and stuff from all the tours, like my drums and his motorcycle."
i get that he may have wanted it to be a museum, but does anyone else find it off that he was "gathering memorabilia".....i cant imagine him wanting a museum while he was still living there, so maybe he knew he had a terminal illness and was preparing?
also, some who were at his last concerts said he was very emotional, talking about his childhood, even crying and leaving the stage at one point saying he had been overcome with emotion.
maybe he knew his time here was short?
