Thought his back was broken. A shitzu. Found him laying in the middle of an intersection, weighing 5 lbs, flea ridden, one broken tooth and bad tooth decay, cataracts, and basically giving up. He is 15 lbs now and his back wasn't broken, it was such incredible matting that it interfered with his ability to walk. He is a very happy dog and has a happy home. Our latest addition was from a family member that beat and kicked the dog and their children were taught to beat it. Similar looking to this sweet thing in the video. I visited and asked if I could take her home as I watch her pee whenever someone came near her. She is happy now and plays and lives the spoiled life. Still pees when it feels threatened for whatever reason (memories) and cowers. So sad to see. Otherwise she can be assertive and loves attention.

This is so heartbreaking yet inspiring. Love it. Brings tears and memories to me.

abandon/neglected kitties over the years. Kept some, got good homes for others.

She looks like my Poca-dot, the poodle I had when I was in high school. Best kind of tears though, because she had a happy ending.

Bless those rescue workers....

I don't understand cruel humans.

Sweet Fiona baby girl. Glad she's safe and happy now.

as happy as can be on a loop all day long. That warm shower-bath must have felt so good. Poor little thing lucked out being rescued by that nice couple.
