It's going to be a rather stressful and painful weekend for me. This always calms me down.

There is nothing like music to get through times like these...
I understand, know your pain...
I always think of you when I hear that special song from times past...
I remember...know...
Be good to yourself...
You're gonna be okay....
Thinking of you....
peace~

(7,658 posts)I'm glad I checked in tonight. Please forgive my cluelessness, but is this the anniversary of your beloved wife's passing? Some good reggae is good for the soul , isn't it? I was just thinking about you and meaning to tell you in a PM (but might as well do it here) that an old friend who is an INCREDIBLE guitar player is playing Austin on, appropriately, 4-20. The Sahara , I think(?) ...Eric McFadden. Hope you are able to see him. Used to play with George Clinton and Eric Burdon among others...Pretty sure Tommy E. knows him too.
I hope you're doing well overall, and that this weekend will pass by without too much pain and stress. I'll be thinking of you and sending some peaceful thoughts your way.
Your friend in Abq.... Ron
P.S. On edit...after seeing Dystopian's response, I now assume that this is that anniversary. I hope you didn't find my using this post about your time of pain and sadness to tell you of my friend's upcoming gig to be insensitive. I hope you know it was meant as anything but...
