(12,272 posts)Béchamel sauce, containing the chopped whites of hard boiled eggs, over buttered toast with the yolks sprinkled on top. Yum. Mr gut doesn't like it much, so I'll make it for myself for lunch when I need comfort food.
Sorry, Pipi, I thought I was responding to the OP

(21,020 posts)For a second there I thought you were suggesting it to me.
In which case I would have to barf because I can't stand eating eggs unless they're scrambled.

(12,272 posts)I was so surprised when I realized what I had done, I debated whether it was OK and everyone would know what I meant to do. But since it would have been distressing to you, I am glad I edited.
My apologies and here is Gordon Ramsay making perfect scrambled eggs. I made these at home a few times and they really are fluffy and creamy and wonderful.

(78,249 posts)the amorphous, gelatinous mass known as mac salad (upper right in photo). All over the islands you can hear the thunk, thunk, thunk of all those scoops hitting trash cans after lunchtime.
More enlightened places will allow you to substitute a small green salad. And in light of recent developments, I propose that mac salad be rechristened "white slime".

(27,711 posts)It forms a perfect counterpoint to the rice and entree.
I think what you hearing is the second scoop of rice and the cabbage going plop in the rubbish.
I don't need no yuppie green salad or brown rice
The Mac Salad is the best part!
