A man with larceny in his heart and loose pants around his hips struck a Turlock restaurant last week, escaping with plants that had been adorning the exterior of the business.

Angela Cotta, owner of Angela's Kitchen, dubbed the thief the "butt crack bandit," according to the Sacramento Bee. Surveillance video shows him bending slightly over a wheelbarrow, revealing a sight one usually associates with small plumbing repairs.

The wheelbarrow was an interesting touch. Obviously the cheeky burglar was not concerned about making a quick escape.

"This guy's got to live darn close if he's toting around a wheelbarrow," Cotta wrote in a Facebook post about the incident. "Or maybe he has a nighttime landscaping service where he pillages then plants."
