I just decided to start using my old 5.5gen click wheel ipod again.

The other one I had was the 8gb 4th gen iPod Touch. It basically sucked at music, because it required me to make playlists like it was some kind of a shuffle, since it really only had 6-ish gigabytes of memory available.

I never really watched video.

All of the stuff I used the iPod for, I now use my Android phone for.

It still works fine, aside from being incapable of using a damn remote. That's some bullshit.

I use my touch for browsing and listening to podcasts, since you don't need to connect to a computer to download them.

Ipod classic is doing it's work in the car, I remember the manual said to unload and load the battery every month to increase the battery life.
I have it on manual sync, so I can throw in stuff from different computers. The only thing you can't use that way are folders I believe.
