Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I never got the appeal of either one. They're not just terrible, they're epically-terrible...unwatchable. Crap.

Especially "Friends". I would say that about the vast majority of reality shows on TV these days, too. The only two exceptions I can think of right now are "America's Got Talent" and "Wipeout", the latter of which is actually a game show.

It was good in the beginning. But, when Margret Houlahan started sporting Farrah hair you knew they weren't even trying anymore.

Frasier: Great show in the '90s, but it went on about three years too long.

Happy Days: Jumped the shark way before it went off the air.

The early-mid 1990s were the 'golden years' of the show. Absolutely classic stuff.

They should have put it down early in the last decade.

He has a lot (A LOT) of Simpson action figures that takes up space in an entire closet. He's still getting around to Ebaying them. Individually, it'll take awhile. We also used to have coasters... A Ralph Wiggum plush doll, a Homer Simpson head/rubik's cube, etc.

The movie sort of revived it and it's been gradually getting better - the last couple seasons have had some really good episodes, but it will never match the Phil Hartman era.

Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Captain Kangaroo. I couldn't believe how long some of these went on. Even my kids wouldn't watch them.

And I think its appeal and longevity sparked a hundred imitations of the show that seemed to be on everywhere I turned -which were, even though it's hard to believe, even worse than the dreck that was "According to Jim"

So why take such a corny show, "grit-ify" it, and then throw it against the wall and hope it sticks?

I actually enjoyed "Buck Rogers" more, same guy who did the first BG, but didn't take the whole premise so seriously.

And I have some friends who are in medical school or have graduated - they loathe Grey's Anatomy. House is the medical show of choice among med students - a lot of the cases submitted to the show are from real doctors.

As for CSI the reason I have for the show being unbearable is around the fifth season they switched from actually solving murders to "let's find the weirdest sexual fetishes we can find and base entire episodes around that."

The morning DJs Kevin & Bean have a serious hatred for 2 1/2 Men and The Big Bang Theory and a couple years ago frequent contributor Ralph Garmin ran an actual laugh track vs. the studio laugh track and the actual laugh track was every 4 minutes vs. every 30 seconds. It was a pretty funny experiments and the rants were more entertaining than the aforementioned shows.
