You may only be familiar with Link Wray from Tarentino films (Tarentino has some quirky
and exceptional musical tastes).

Dick Dale used piano strings and innovated amplifier effects -- some as basic as purposefully
ruining speakers to get the right fuzztones. I bet Stevie Ray was the one in awe on this day).

Thanks for posting that. Hard to believe he could get such expressive tones out of one of the most bare-bones electric guitars ever made.
