15 years ago today, the world lost one hell of a man!

My father passed away on March 31 1997. Three months to the day of his DX of Leukemia.

He worked at an aircraft plant all his life except for the time he served at West Point during the Korean Conflict. He was a quiet unassuming man who loved his family fiercely.

I love you daddy! I miss you so very much!

March 25, 1996. He was an ordained minister in the UUA church, a licensed electrician, a radio repairman, and dozens of other things. He always said his most important job was being a dad. He died of pancreatic cancer about 5 months after he was diagnosed. When I close my eyes, I can see him working out in his wood shop, puffing on his favorite briar pipe and I can still smell his pipe tobacco.
