I listened to the first couple of tracks on that Brian Jonestown and I might have to buy a copy.

I go on binges of what types of music I listen to. Right now it's psychedelic & garage rock!
Some of the newer groups I've found...
Holy Wave - Albuquerque Freakout
The Black Angels - Deer-Ree-Shee
Christian Bland and the Revelators - Daughters of the Son
Al Simones - Colors
I actually prefer the sound of the older stuff. There's tons of great songs waiting to be discovered!
Scorpio Tube - Yellow Listen
Knight's Bridge - Make Me Some Love
Ultimate Spinach - Your Head Is Reeling
The Human Expression - Optical Sound
Damon - Don't You Feel Me
Mu - End Of an Era
The Noel Gilpin Emporium - Will You Miss Me When I'm Dead
Guess I went on a binge here, too!

I only got a chance to see these guys once, and I was delayed by a traffic jam. When I finally got in, I could tell they were already starting their big wind-up.
It turned out that the whole show was one song. Slaying the dragon took twenty minutes!

I wish I could find a video from a 60s TV show, of good quality.

(1,681 posts)13. Jess and the Ancient Ones - Astral Sabbat (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
It's like an evil version of Jefferson Airplane with real bad intentions.
So it's not pure psychedelic, it's definitely has occult rock influences but it's pretty bad-ass to me. She's a cutie too.
Purson - Leaning On A Bear (Official Video)
Big Deep Purple influence going on here, which is a good thing.
Another female vocal led outfit that really stands out. Yeah, she's a cutie as well. If you guys like I'll recommend some more.
