Just did a round trip to the East Coast on Virgin America

Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It was a different experience than what one encounters with more traditional airlines.

Here's their awesome safety video, as an example on how they approach things.

Better service, better on-time record, happier personnel, AND....they fly to New York, Washington and San Francisco from Love Field here in Dallas, which is only 15 minutes away by car from both my Dallas house and my Dallas office. The DFW airport is fine, but it's way the hell out there from my part of the DFW area. I took them from La Guardia to Dallas in January, from San Francisco to Dallas last Wednesday, and will take them again up to Washington National later this week.
